# Button Formula Error - Open PDF button

Hi guys, I’m new to coda

I am organising a reading list table with PDF files in them and I would like to make a button that Opens the file.

Below is the code I wrote, but it keeps showing “Unexpected value” error.

```auto
thisRow.FileSwitchIf(pdf.IsNotBlank(),"open PDF", )

```

Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong and if they know the correct code to be able to open the PDF.

I did a little research and found this topic where this problem has already been solved.
