Cross-doc select columns do not support option settings or filters, which is a problem for my use case.
I have one main doc and share a separate dashboard with each client. 
In the main doc, the “Pillar” column is a related column configured to show only the pillars associated with each client. However, this filtering is not preserved when the column is synced through Cross-doc.
The only workaround I have found is to create a new select column in each client’s dashboard, hide the original Cross-doc column, and set up an automation that updates the original column whenever the client changes the new one. 
The goal is to allow each client to edit their own content ideas while only seeing and selecting from the options I have assigned to them.
It would be very helpful if Cross-doc select columns preserved their option settings and filters.
