Hi Docs community! I’m excited to share that we have launched a beta of the Desktop App for Windows. It brings all the best of the Mac version we launched with the Superhuman Docs rebrand to Windows.

Please fill out this [form](https://docs.superhuman.com/form/_dE0Ql8C06SU) to get access to the beta.

### What’s Inside the Desktop Experience?

We’ve built this app to feel like a native part of your workflow with features that help you work seamlessly away from the browser.

- **Multi-Tab Browsing:** Open multiple docs side-by-side in a dedicated tabbed interface. Switch between projects instantly without losing your place.
- **Desktop Notifications:** Stay in the loop with real-time alerts for @mentions and comments delivered directly to your OS; no more hunting through browser tabs.
- **Fast New Tab Screen:** Jump straight into your most recent docs, pinned favorites, or a global search every time you open a new tab.
- **Pinned tabs:** Pin the tabs you access frequently to get back to them quickly.
- **Open links in app:** Open docs links directly in the app rather than the browser.
- **Automatic Updates:** The app stays fresh with background updates, so you always have the latest version. We release updates frequently!

### How to Join

We’re rolling out access, and we want your help to make it perfect.

1. **Join the waitlist:** Fill out this [form](https://docs.superhuman.com/form/_dE0Ql8C06SU). We’ll grant access in batches.
2. **Share your feedback:** Use the in app Report a bug (bug icon in the top-right corner) flow to tell us what is and isn’t working.

As always, thank you for being part of the Superhuman Docs community. We’d love to hear what you think!

Sorry, but is there any reason for making these Electron-based apps, which are basically just browser wrappers, if a regular browser like Chrome can do the same, but also better and with extensions support? 🤷‍♂️

I tried working in a MacOS app for the “focus away from the browser” reason and couldn’t bear _not having_ my formula editor plugin.
