Email Table View Automatically

I would like to know if anyone has any good suggestions on how to push a button to send the contents of a table in printed form.

Today, we use the outlook add-in and send many emails (with attachments) from inside of Coda.

My challenge is how to send the key content in the email without making the user open Coda. I also would like to avoid creating a complex customized “email content” field which would take forever unless their is only a field or two of content.

Has anyone found a good work around for this? Ideally I will just create a button someone can push that share the latest version of a table that will turn into a pdf or other format and then attach itself to an email I want to send.

It seems all of the separate pieces can work in Coda if we can just pull in all together. The current PDF output, while not perfect is sufficient for this purpose.

Thanks in advance for any help.

It is now possible to create a PDF from any page, add pagebreaks or even create a PDF from a table. And although you can’t create an email with the PDF attached, you can create an email with a link to the PDF. Upon clicking the link, the recipient can download the PDF..
This can be done with a button or an automation and can be customized.
You have to use a free pack (Cloud Convert), which uses a very inexpensive (or even free for up to 10 pdf’s per month) service (CloudConvert).
I have posted about this a while ago, and the post includes a sort of template document to get you started: Create PDF with a button
It takes a bit of work to set it up, but the result is nice. The other option is using the Documint pack, but for my use cases Cloud Convert works better.
If you need help setting this up, you can send me a DM with your objectives, and I will give you an idea of the cost to set it up for you. But it is worth the effort to do this yourself.
