Fetch Youtube views from link using JSON

I have a table with youtube links. I want to use JSON to fetch view count from those videos automatically every hour. What would this look like? I’m not much of a programmer and haven’t had much experience doing API calls. Is it possible for it to fetch automatically or do I need a button that activates the call?
