Am i crazy? i swear formula cells didn’t used to be highlighted in grey. All the formula cells that return empty now have a big ugly grey bar. Is there anyway to remove it?

The grey circle was there for long time. The grey background for everything… I haven’t seen that.

I have also noticed that sometimes over the years, some (or all, can’t be sure) of my documents would show that gray background in formula columns… At the moment it’s not happening though.

i do not have a conditional format. it is happening in every formula field i look at. i’ve managed to narrow it down tho. It seems to only happen when i use the chrome browser on this PC. Firefox on this pc and chrome on a different pc both looked normal. I’m not sure how to fix it in chrome, i’ve deleted cookies, cleared cache, disabled all extensions, and restarted the browser multiple times with no luck. I might try reinstalling the browser next
Edit: I really didnt think restarting my computer would fix this, but it did.
