Hey, I got such warning in different docs on
Coda.io mobile. Whereas on web docs are working without any issues.
You are not the only one experiencing this. I’m experiencing the same and here there are a couple of examples from last week.
Is there a primary root cause when you see this message?
Mel! Thank you, and yes, it does show “calculating” in the mobile app. So, I guess that confirms I built it too big. I wonder what the triggers determine that. I didn’t think it was a large doc. Thanks for the update on the roundtable - I am very interested in that. AND YES, fingers crossed.
The good news is that I found a work around, although inconvenient. I deleted the app, and opened my phone browser, and went to coda.io website, my doc and specifically my “mobile page”…
@Ruggy_Joesten1 The mobile app has always been a frustration source, but it seems it’s deteriorating even further. Would you be so kind to bring it to the team?
A couple more users complaining about the same issue
I opened a new doc to test a layout today. It has one table with 8 lines of fake name entries. It has 4 columns (fake names, check box column, number entry, number entry) and I got the same error. I don’t use the app much but wanted to see if that app would be good for collecting event data with phones or iPads.

I’m just hoping you can fix Formulas not calculating in the iOS app
