Is there a way to test a Doc before it is shared with others as “Can View”?

@Guy_Roshto generally, if I’m concerned about people modifying my doc I just copy my doc before sharing. That’s the best solution to the control access problem I’ve managed to come up with.

If you have another gmail account you can share the doc with that - open in incognito mode and check it out. I keep a test account for these things.
@cnr - copy is great but you also have revision history to fall back on if things go downhill.
