Is there a decent Zotero integration?

I tried Make, and I tried the Zotero pack. The Zotero pack is limited, and although the Make integration should be able to work, its own limits and Coda’s API limits pinch together to make an integration either functionally impossible or programmatically baroque.

Is there really no way to do better than export citations as a CSV file and import them like it’s 1975?

What do you imagine doing in Coda that you can’t do in Zotero? What would your ideal integration accomplish for you?

I actually have a skeleton of a pack but don’t have any ETA on it as I don’t have much time on hand for the moment to deal with it.
