Is there a way for sync pages be edited by users without access to the source doc?

I am hoping to have a doc with some sync pages be available for users to edit who don’t have access to the original doc but I’m finding that it might not be possible.

Is there a workaround?

Alternatively can this be done with just the tables if not possible for entire pages?

hi @Emma_Pang , what you ask is not yet possible. the only workaround so far is the set up via webhook and create a two way sync. don’t forget to lock the tables. This set up is a bit difficult and has some complexity. It works fast and people without access rights to the source doc can change data in the target doc. I made it as a temp solution, but honestly speaking I would not have assumed it would take Coda so long to deliver.

What Christiaan said or you can setup a cross sync table with 2ways edit and a filtered view to bring in only the columns or row that you want to expose.

P.s.: cannot wait for super tables
