Set column alignment
You can now apply left, center, or right alignment to entire text, date, and number columns directly from the conditional format panel. Before, you could only align text cell by cell, and it wouldn’t carry over to new rows. Now, set it once, and it applies column-wide, even as you add new rows.
Set number column alignment
Until now, number columns were always right-aligned. Starting today, you can choose left or right alignment for any number, percent, or currency column right from the column settings. It works across both tables and cards.

Nice.
What also be really nice in this same vein would allow us to set the size of column names. So some could be H1, H2, etc. Or if you could bold them, or make the column names different colors.

You can currently add emojis to column names, if you just pull up your computers emoji keyboard (win+.), or you can copy and paste them in. I’d avoid using them at the start of a column name though.

Using emojis in column names causes too many downsides in the doc. That’s why I don’t use them:
- Different systems have different native emoji sets, causing inconsistencies between devices.
- The native emojis don’t fit the UI Design of SH Docs.
- It’s harder to write formulas when a column has an emoji.
- AI can hallucinate when leading with these columns, causing unexpected errors.

Nice - and from me one more request (it’s an old one): can we get an optional monospace font, at least for number (and date) columns?
