Hi, is there a way to make card column titles persistent?

If you add a Card view from the + button you get a Kanban board by default which has columns that remain even if there is nothing in there. Eg

 ![Cards from template](https://global.discourse-cdn.com/coda1/original/2X/c/c5dddff82e5b58a329737bcb6fdfee8bfb83b4ee.png)

However when I create a traditional table then create a Card view of it, columns only are visible if I have a blank item in them.

Eg

![New with blanks](https://global.discourse-cdn.com/coda1/original/2X/5/51fdf172727740cf28e5f165b31da00aa8c37a84.png) and ![New without blanks](https://global.discourse-cdn.com/coda1/original/2X/a/ae08cd4a336dd05970ad744c63a80eee5ca134f5.png)

I’ve looked at the filter and other table settings and they should be the same. Any advice?

Dear @Jonathan_Richardson,

Please have a look at this post:

Thanks @Jean_Pierre_Traets , I went to the page it linked to from there ([Display empty "states" in Card View 🤔](https://connect.superhuman.com/t/display-empty-states-in-card-view/1327/13)) and it seems that I should be able to do this in the grouping options. I am grouping my cards by the column heading (‘Shops’) but can’t see the “Arrange and manage groups” and “Show all groups” which is what I want.

Got it! You need to go into Table view then in the column that you group it by click on the drop down to Manage groups. Then you can Pin columns.
