Sum values from another table referenced by multiple select field

Hi All, first post and a Coda newbie (kind of)

This is probably a basic question, and there might be a far better way to do it (please say so!)
I am trying to sum the values in another table so that I can have a customized display of different product options given different components of those product options.

Basically: Table of components and their costs.
In another table I want to specify the components in each product, and have the total cost displayed.

Try this: comps.Cost.Sum()
