Some weeks are quietly productive. This was not one of those weeks.
This past week brought Go to Android, gave AI columns more useful superpowers, and shipped a bunch of Docs improvements that fall squarely into the “yes, this will make my life easier immediately” category. In other words, a very good week to be lurking in the changelog.
What shipped:
Superhuman Go for Android is live on Google Play
A pretty big one to kick things off: Go is now live on Android, which means it’s now available across web, desktop, iOS, and Android. On Android, you can use Go Assist with on-screen context, work with a floating notch in any app, and browse agents + connectors right from the app itself.
Automation management got way easier to wrangle
If you’ve ever opened a doc with a lot going on and thought “okay, but what are all of these doing?” — good news. Automations now show clear descriptions and matched icons; the panel is resizable; you can drag to reorder; and you can turn off every automation in a doc with a single click.
Formatting + customization got a strong little glow-up
A handful of genuinely useful upgrades landed here: vertical gridlines in tables, resizable text controls with narrow, medium, or wide sizing, and the ability to auto-size columns to fit their content with a double-click or from the column menu. Small controls, big payoff.
AI columns can now extract data straight from files
This one is especially fun. AI columns can now pull structured data from PDFs, invoices, contracts, screenshots, and other files in a File column, which means less copy-paste and a much faster path from unstructured docs to usable table data. Also shipping alongside that: native comments on iOS were rebuilt to feel faster and more responsive.
AI columns also picked up a long-requested “Disable IF” control
Another solid upgrade for control freaks everywhere (said affectionately 
). You can now add a **Disable IF** condition to an AI Column so it runs only when you want it to, instead of applying across every row by default.
Column alignment controls are here
You can now set left, center, or right alignment across entire text, date, and number columns. And for number, percent, and currency columns, you’re no longer stuck with the old default behavior — alignment can now be adjusted across both tables and cards.
