Before we dive in, be sure to watch Noah’s overview of the cool things Go can do on our blog.
Most AI tools make you come to them. Superhuman Go works the other way around, right inside what you’re already doing. Here are three things only Go can do. Get these down, and you’re ready to go.
Highlight a confusing term
When you highlight a word or phrase, a Go icon appears. Click it and Go explains the term. Try it on a new Wikipedia article to see definitions as you read. It helps when you’re working through a dense report, a financial analysis, or other technical documentation.
Look for the underlines
The underlines under your text are from Go. Hover over one to see a suggested edit, then accept or reject it. Try it in a document you’re actively writing to see it in action.
Open Go where you’re working
Hover over the side of your screen, left or right depending on your settings, and a Go icon appears. Click it to open the chat. From there, you can search, draft, and take action across your connected tools.
That’s the shift. Go helps inside the work you’re already doing, so you don’t have to stop, switch tools, prompt, and copy-paste to get help from AI. It might feel new at first, but once it clicks, you won’t look back.
Once these become familiar, here are a few more ways to use Go in everyday work.
Key ways to use Go in the flow of work:
- Explain confusing text. You’re working through a complex doc. Just highlight, and Go explains a passage, pulls key metrics, or cross-references other sources. And it does it all inline, without leaving the page.
- Get up to speed with a daily brief. Set up a daily briefing to help you understand what’s been done, what’s in progress, and what needs attention. You can do this just by chatting with Go in the side panel or app. (Note: This functionality requires a paid plan.)
- Respond to emails faster. With Email Assistant, every email that needs a reply comes with a draft written in your voice. Go uses context from your inbox, calendar, and the web to write responses that are ready to send. (Note: This functionality requires a paid plan.)
- Prep for meetings. Looking at a lengthy pre-read ahead of an important meeting? Ask Go in the side panel to help you understand what’s in front of you to get ready for a meeting.
- Create docs from your data. You need to recap this quarter’s experiment trends. Just ask, and Go drafts the doc from your connected tools. You refine, share, and collaborate live. (Note: Connecting Go to your work apps requires a paid plan.)
- Fact-check as you type. You’re prepping a proposal full of stats. The Knowledge Checker agent checks your claims against real sources, including your connected apps, and flags anything that doesn’t hold up before it leaves your hands.
- Sharpen writing for different use cases. Just like the Grammarly you’re used to, Go brings inline edits directly to your highlighted text, helping you rewrite in the flow of work.
