It is possible to right-click on a selection of rows in a column and you get some menu options:

Seems to me it might be helpful to add an item to this menu, perhaps something like Paste clipboard into 6 cells.

Any way to use the ‘pattern recognition dragging’ feature that Excel has where you can pull down and it autocompletes the pattern?
