Hi, in a document where one has several buttons and controls, it would be nice to add a “Notes” or “Memo” field in the button or control settings where one can store some notes pertaining to what the button or control does. It will help a lot when trouble shooting as one can just open the settings, view the Notes/Memo section and quickly establish what the button or control is meant to do.
I get it thanks. But still, it would be nicer to keep the name as short as possible so that formulas are not cluttered with lots of text. I prefer to keep the notes separately, so they have nothing to do with the formulas.
If there was a way of specifying the notes in the name field, e.g. using “//” or * at the beginning and end of the notes text such that when referring to the name, the notes are excluded, it will still work fine. Those are my thoughts.
