Alternative Column Titles for Table Views

Similar to how we can change the “display name” of a column in the forms and display views (screenshot below), it would be cool if we could change the column header in a table view in a similar fashion.

Especially with the new rollout using the “tab views,” being able to change the displayed title to accommodate different workflows and roles in a table-format would be helpful.

Agree. Ideally we’d have a “public name” and a “back-end name”. The public name would be the one users see on tables and views. The back-end name would be the one that shows up in the Columns pane when editing a view.

Ideally I’d like more than just “a” public name. I would like the ability to have public names per-view.
