Hi, I just read from the news page What's new, explore new Coda features and product updates - Coda that now finally in canvas field “the URL changes each time you select a component on the canvas. This allows you to share specific parts of a page more easily with your team” (a feature that always existed in docs) but… how it works? I tried to click on the three dots at the left of a paragrah/bullet in a canvas field in detail view but no “Copy Link” appears…. any clue?
thanks
@Giuseppe_Covino
when you stated “canvas field“ - did you mean a cell in table? e.g. canvas column within a row?
I think they meant the canvas as a page. Because next to that, they describe cell in table/canvas column within a row as “canvas cell“ and the statement “This allows you to share specific parts of a page more easily with your team.“ they’ve mentioned page specifically.
hope this helps!
Cheers!
Mel

ok… I hoped that it was related to canvas column that has many important limitations with respect to doc: no Table of Content, no links to specific part of the content, no cross-doc modification…
