Is anyone here having timeouts on the Coda API ? I am getting anywhere from 40s to actual gateway timeouts from Coda. I am extracting a row from a doc table. I even get timeouts modifying row values.
Yes! I’m getting a lot of 500/502/504 errors with the coda api. I’m pulling a somewhat large table but have been having no problems until today.

My company is experiencing this as well, with today being the worst spike. Even basic test calls to fetch a single row from an otherwise empty doc are getting timeouts (inconsistently). Systems that’ve been stable for months are generating timeout errors at an unusual rate.
It appears it’s fixed for me for the time being.
I’m seeing consistent 504 Gateway Timeouts today. I’ve tested via cURL and n8n, and even a simple GET request for a small table (12 rows) is timing out after 70+ seconds.
Sometimes it triggers a 403 CloudFront error: "The request could not be satisfied. Bad request.
Nevermind! As soon as I posted this, everything started working again. It seems the API is back to normal now, responding as expected. Thanks anyway!
The engineering team found an issue with the infrastructure, where the memory allocated for the API servers was accidentally reduced, resulting in the slow responses and errors. The team restored the original settings, and it should have resolved the issue. Let me know if you see otherwise.
They will be doing a postmortem internally to try to figure out how it was allowed to happen and plans to prevent a similar failure going forward.

Still happening here for me, this is really frustrating, the API is already really slow with large docs. Really feels like after the grammarly merge coda was neglected, and quite frankly forgotten.

@Danillo_Villas_Neto - I was out of office on Friday, but I did see that we might have had a brief recurrence of this issue on that day. Can you confirm if you are still seeing the errors today?
hi @Eric_Koleda , yes I am still having this problem. Its really frustrating. I am being forced to reconsider coda as a solution for my company
It’s Tuesday and I’m still experiencing issues. Emailing support doesn’t help, just keep getting very polite “let us look into this” replies.
