is there the possibility to center the alignment of a column value in a table?

I would also like an answer on whether the alignment in a column can be changed. I just created a column with a numerical value (counts items in another table, via table relations) and it appears to automatically align the column right. This looks weird and ugly when the rest of the table is aligned left, and makes it hard and annoying to read.
