The Role
We’re hiring a Senior Coda Developer to build powerful, scalable solutions for our clients—and be a trusted partner throughout the process. You’ll split your time between deep technical work in Coda and direct client collaboration, translating business needs into elegant, functional systems. This role starts part-time (20+ hrs/week) with a high likelihood of growing into a full-time position—most of our developers make that transition pretty quickly. This is an individual contributor role reporting directly to our leadership team.
What you’ll do:

Build custom Coda docs, automations, and workflows tailored to each client’s unique operations

Serve as a day-to-day point of contact for clients, translating their needs into technical solutions

Lead discovery conversations and scope technical work alongside our project management team

Manage multiple client projects simultaneously across a range of industries

Troubleshoot and iterate on existing builds, improving performance and usability over time

Provide clear documentation of your work to your clients and team

Support and mentor junior developers as needed
What you bring:

Business-level English communication skills—especially since we’re fully remote.

Track record of hands-on Coda building experience in a professional setting

Deep expertise in Coda — you know how to push the platform to its limits

Comfort being client-facing: you communicate clearly, ask good questions, and build trust naturally

Ability to manage your own time across multiple projects without heavy oversight

Startup mindset: flexible, resourceful, and not afraid to figure things out, and you know when to ask for help

Bonus: Experience with Coda Packs, APIs, other integration/automation tools, or AI tools and workflows
