How to Prevent Users from Viewing Hidden Columns on a Sync Page?

Hello!

Is there any way to really hide columns in a table (disable “show hidden columns”) on a sync page with the “everyone can access this doc” permission?

I would like to create an environment where there is a sync page with a table with buttons in it and the users should be able to click on the button, but should not be able to see the hidden columns.

What would be the way to do this?

Buttons don’t work on synced pages.

They do if the permission is set to “Everyone with access to the source doc”, but then they also see the hidden columns. That’s the trap I’m in.
