Sorry for the delayed response—copying and pasting a table from Google Sheets should still work, so let me know if you are still running into this issue.

If needed, as a temporary workaround, you can export the sheet as a CSV and import it into Docs by typing /import in the canvas. Could you also share which browser you’re using and whether you’re pasting onto a blank canvas or into an existing table? That will help us investigate.
