Locking values in a view

I might want to be able to lock values (i.e. a sort of Read Only setting, per column) in a view of a table, is this possible?

Haven’t thought about it much but choosing to lock/share certain sections in a doc is one thing that came to mind the other day:

I’m working on a document where it would be beneficial for me to be able to share certain sections with specific users. Essentially what I would like to do is limit complexity as much as possible for collaborators. This also has the benefit of limiting the risk that a user mistakenly edits a config-section or reference table that should be left alone.

Column width. Well, I’d like users of a shared document to override column widths, sorting, and filtering without affecting other users.

Got it Dan! My recommendation here would be to create views for teammates - that way they can customize widths and look and feel without affecting the master. It will get you close, but stay tuned for how this develops!
