I just tried to attach a file to a canvas and got the error “**The HTML file type is not supported.”

Then I tried adding a file column and attaching it there and got the same thing.
I understand not being able to preview or display HTML but is there really no way to attach HTML files in general?
I tried looking it up and I’m not seeing many other people struggling with this so maybe I’m missing something.
Any tricks for this?
Not sure exactly what your needs are, but here are a couple of ideas (if you haven’t already tried them).
Zip-ing the file to add as an attachment into a File column was able to be uploaded, but then I got the message that file type HTML is not supported (Coda looking inside the zip), but the zip file remained attached.
Or else you could add a code block of type HTML and paste in the HTML code itself. There are some packs which allow rendering of HTML from that code block which may suit some of your needs.
Maybe some of the packs that handle HTML allow more comprehensive handling of HTML files themselves.
