Can Existing Coda and Grammarly Accounts Be Migrated to Superhuman?

Hi,

I’m a long-time Coda and Grammarly user, and I’ve asked multiple times when it will finally be possible to migrate the different accounts to the new Superhuman account. Because I currently pay more for Coda and Grammarly together than for the whole Superhuman package.

Any update on this topic, because it is now quite some time since the communcation of this package.

HI,

For me, i created a Grammarary account with the same username as my Coda account.

When I created the Coda account, it created a new workspace, so it was the same Coda account. I simply moved all the documents into the new workspace, and it’s working now. The only issue is with the packs for the time being.

Hi @Erich_Althaus — great question, and I appreciate your patience here.

Short version: Because Coda, Grammarly, and Mail currently operate on different billing systems and feature structures, it takes a bit of work behind the scenes to make sure upgrades from existing plans (like a la carte subscriptions) happen smoothly. Our goal is to begin rolling out support for these bundled migrations this spring, starting with simpler cases first and expanding from there.

Phu, it’s now soon half a year since i heard that the first time. But to be transparent. It’s not really a nice behaviour for the existing customers, especially when you pay more for a part of the services but can not use everything. What i fear in addition is, that i lose some features with the new subscription, especially when it comes to coda.

But i guess you are not alone. What Atlassian did with Trello in Corporate Environments is crazy. I guess you still have to use private acocunts as a trello user, when the domain is registered with atlassian access. In our case, we had free trello users with corporate email before we started using atlassian cloud. We then had to pay for all those freely created trello accounts when they were migrated to atlassian

We have a roundtable on pricing coming up where we might be able to get a bit more granular. If you’re around, I encourage you to RSVP!
