Hi everyone! Happy Tuesday!
We’ve got more new features, and this set is all about smarter automation management. These updates will make it easier to build, browse, and manage your automations.
Here’s what’s new:
1. Understand what your automations do at a glance
Automations now show a clear description and an icon matched to their action, so you can scan the panel and know what each one does without clicking in. Descriptions are editable if you want to fine-tune or write your own.
2. Resize the automations panel
Widen the panel so you can see more while you build, browse, or review your automations.
3. Drag to reorder automations
Organize your automations in the order that makes sense for you and your team by dragging them into place.
4. Jump to buttons and tables from automation settings
Go right to the specific button or table your automation references from the automations panel. The same shortcut also works from the button configuration menu.
5. Turn off all automations at once
Disable every automation in a doc with a single click, instead of opening each one individually. Especially handy right after you copy a doc, so the copies don’t run twice.
6. Jump to failing automation from notifications
Notifications about automation errors now take you straight to the relevant automation itself, not just the doc it lives in.
Why it matters
These updates make automation management feel less like a scavenger hunt. Whether you’re building something new, reviewing what’s running, or debugging something that broke, you now have clearer context and faster paths to what you need.
Go try these out! We’d love to hear what you think.
