The releases keep on coming! 
First up—you know him, you love him: he’s @Henrique_Cruz1 and he dropped this little nugget recently, letting us know about some improvements to AI capabilities that we think you’re going to love: AI columns can now extract data straight from your files.
If you’ve got a File column full of PDFs, invoices, contracts, or screenshots, you can now point an AI column at them and pull out exactly the details you need—no manual data entry, no copy-paste. The AI reads each file and automatically populates your table’s columns with the values. Watch Henrique walk you through a demo here, and give him a follow while you’re at it!
What you can do with it
- Digitize documents at scale. Extract vendor names, dates, amounts, line items—whatever you specify—from PDFs and images across every row.
- Build real workflows fast. As Henrique showed, you can stand up something like an invoice-submission app in a couple of minutes: upload a file, and AI populates the structured fields around it.
- Works across file types. PDFs and images are the sweet spot, with more file types in the mix.
This is one more step toward making your tables do the heavy lifting—turning messy documents into clean, usable data you can filter, sort, and act on.
