This is incredibly frustrating, and always seems to happen at the worst possible moment, like when all my focus is on a formula.
This is simply a completely rubbish way to interact with users and gain feedback. Invite feedback in the forums and leave it there.
If there is a way of turning these off, then I would love to hear it. But of course the default behaviour should be the other way round - off by default, turn on if you want it.
