Happy Friday!
This week’s theme: QoL updates to the rescue, and one very big meeting move. Let’s get on with it!
What shipped these past two weeks:
Bring Excel files straight into Docs
Drag an XLSX file into Superhuman Docs and turn it into real, working tables—with formulas intact. Row-level formulas, SUMIFs, and VLOOKUPs map over automatically, so there’s no need to fall back to CSV and lose your work along the way.
Also new: AI Columns can extract structured data directly from PDFs and images. Upload invoices, contracts, receipts, or other documents, and let AI handle the copy-paste busywork for you.

Smarter data entry and validation in Docs
A fresh batch of quality-of-life improvements landed for Tables:
-
Reaction vote limits let you control how many votes each person gets.
-
Better date pickers help you jump directly to a month or year.
-
Button confirmations add an extra “Are you sure?” before an action runs.
-
People-column defaults can automatically use the row’s creator—or another person you select.
-
Add row as form ensures a new row appears only after someone explicitly saves it.
Together, these updates help prevent incomplete entries, reduce friction, and retire a few more manual workarounds.

Fathom is joining Superhuman—and you can connect it to Go today
Superhuman has acquired Fathom, the AI meeting partner that turns conversations into summaries, action items, follow-ups, and searchable context.
If you use both Fathom and Superhuman Go, connect your account through the Fathom connector. Once connected, you can ask Go about past meetings—including summaries, transcripts, action items, and recordings.
One less place to hunt for that thing someone definitely said two Tuesdays ago ![]()

Around the community:
This week, we also hosted a community roundtable with Luke Behnke, our VP of Product Management, for an early look at how we’re exploring usage-based AI credits—and, most importantly, to hear your feedback. This was a preview and discussion, not an announcement.
And coming up early next week, be on the lookout for an exciting beta program that we’ll want many of you to participate in. ![]()
And with that, enjoy the final weekend of summer. May your imports be clean, your tables be tidy, your meetings be searchable, and your weekend feel extra long ![]()
